The Best Spring Activities in Denver

Spring is in the air and with it, what seems like endless Denver spring activities, festivals, and other cool things to do. Whether you’re looking for ideas to keep you entertained or reasons to seriously shop new construction in Denver, here are a few Denver spring activities you won’t want to miss.

Top Denver spring activities

Before we get into the more general things to do in Colorado in the spring, here are a few Denver-based activities that are so, well—Denver. In a good way. The sort of good you won’t want to miss out on.

The Beer Spa

“Relax differently.” Those are the words of the beer spa, which lures guests in with craft beer, bubbly beer baths, full-body massages in Zero Gravity massage chairs, and craft beer on tap. Denver is known for its wide selection of craft breweries, but the beer spa (with its Zero Gravity stuff) is elevating things in a very literal way.

Denver graffiti tour

Experience Denver's urban side with a two-hour walking tour of the RiNo Art District. On the tour, you’ll get to explore some of the stories behind Denver's best murals and the artists who created them. You’ll also learn some about the political dynamics that helped shape the city before ending up at Denver Central Market—an upscale food hall where you can cool off from your tour with a beer and a bite to eat.

Denver Zoo and farmer’s market

Be one of the first ones to enter the zoo at 10 am on Saturday (or 8:30 am if you’re a member) and catch a glimpse of African Lions, Clouded Leopards, or Two-Toed Sloths. Once you’ve released your inner animal and worked up an appetite, head over to City Park Farmer’s Market for your fill of baked goods, fresh produce, food trucks, and more. The market stays open until 1 pm.

Cans Festival

Things to do in Colorado in the spring

In addition to unique adventures and Denver festivals, there are plenty of other things to do in Colorado in the spring—like going on open house tours of new construction in the Denver area. Ok, that might not be the most popular thing, although it is free. You might also consider exploring the countless Colorado trails, taking a hike, going rock climbing, or attempting a water activity like canoeing or kayaking at Confluence Park.

The city also offers plenty of walking tours and rooftop bars that are perfect for grabbing a drink as the sun sets over the mountains.
